Meet Karina Sheremet

Karina Sheremet founded SMA with the passion to create a music academy program rooted in professionalism, excellence, and dedication to cultivating growth through music in the local community. With over twenty years of performance experience and twelve years of teaching experience she is dedicated to helping students develop both strong technique and a genuine love for music. Known for her patient, encouraging, and personalized teaching style, she works closely with each student to create a path that reflects their age, goals, and musical potential. SMA was founded on these same principles with a faculty that is committed to delivering excellence and passion in the art of teaching music.

Our program provides a structured and personalized music education with an emphasis on artistry and expression, allowing students to build a solid foundation while also growing in confidence as musicians. Students are encouraged not only to progress technically, but to develop discipline, creativity, and a lifelong connection to music.
